WCU Scholarships
WCU is proud to provide our members with scholarship opportunities.
The High School Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that is available to Catholic High School students who are members of the Western Catholic Union. The student must be enrolled in a Catholic High School in grades 9-12 for the upcoming school year. Applications must be received by April 1st.
The applicant must also provide 1 educational letter of reference and submit an essay of 250 words or less answering the question “Why is it important to you to attend a Catholic High School?” to be considered for the scholarship.
Catholic High School Scholarship Application 2025-2026 School Year
The Grade School Grant is a $500 grant that is available to students that are a member of the Western Catholic Union. The student must be enrolled in a Catholic Grade School in grades K-8 for the upcoming school year. Entry forms must be received by April 1st.
Grade School Grant Application 2025-2026 School Year
The Catholic University Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarship that is available to students that are a member of the Western Catholic Union. The student must be enrolled in a Catholic University. Recipients will be selected based on a completed application, formal essay, and the unique value they bring to their campus. This is a renewable scholarship for each year they are enrolled.
The applicant will need to submit the following along with an application form: 1. A list of your extracurricular activities in order of importance to you, including school, church, community activities, leadership roles, honors earned, etc.; 2. A 1-2 page essay indicating the importance of your community volunteerism and charitable efforts; 3. 3 letters of reference.
Catholic University Scholarship Application (New Applicants will be able to apply for the 2026-2027 School Year – Applications will be available late 2025)
