Board Applications
Have you thought about serving the Fraternal Benefit Society of which you are a member?
Western Catholic Union is now accepting applications for our Board of Trustees election that will be held in the summer of 2026. There are 5 of our 10 elected seats open for the upcoming 4-year term that begins in August 2026 and runs through August 2030. WCU is looking for qualified board candidates with knowledge and/or experience that could help lead our organization.
Do you meet the following qualifications?
- A member of Western Catholic Union in good standing
- A member of the Catholic Church
- Between the ages of 21 and 76 inclusive as of July 1, 2026
- Have general knowledge of the fraternal benefit system and the history, customs, and structure of WCU
- Willing to participate in educational programs about life insurance and/or financial services management
- Have not been convicted of a felony
- No criminal history (outside of minor traffic violations)
- Have not been employed by or held a sales agent contract with WCU in the last 5 years
- Have not been the spouse of someone employed by or held a sales agent contract with WCU in the last 5 years
- Have not been removed from the WCU Board of Trustees for cause

Our board works diligently to attend to the fraternal, financial and spiritual well-being of our members. If you have knowledge, experience and an interest in helping to guide and shape the future of WCU, prayerfully consider reviewing our Board application. Legal, compliance, regulatory or business management experience a plus.
