$100,000 For Washington Parishes

 May the spirit of the Washington MO branch live forever!

This summer, the retiring officers of Western Catholic Union Branch 256 used the profits from the sale of their hall to make   sure their ability to support their favorite local charities would extend for many, many years.

In the middle of the photo, former branch Vice-President Justin Kleekamp, former Trustee Dorothy Kleekamp, and former Treasurer Miriam Weseman present $50,000 to Our Lady of Lourdes parish and elementary school, and $50,000 to St. Francis Borgia parish and elementary school.

For many years, the branch organized Matching Fund activities to raise money for both organizations.

Some day these former officers hope new leadership will step forward to continue the branch’s
charitable mission.
