Riding the RAGBRAI

BikingFundraising continues for the 2015 Bike For Food campaign to assist needy food pantries. This summer, WCU President & CEO Mark Wiewel was joined by family members to ride over 450 miles in RAGBRAI, the Des Moines Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa.  This is the tenth year for his “Bike For Food” program, which has raised more than $203,000 for local food pantries.

Please contact these pantries if you would like to join the effort:  In Quincy IL: Quincy Catholic Charities, Madonna House, Quincy Salvation Army, Ladies of Charity, Quanada Food Pantry, St. Francis Food Pantry, Horizon Food Pantry, and GPS Ministries.  Other organizations included in this program include Alton Catholic Charities in Alton IL, Douglas Community Center in Hannibal MO, Palmyra Food Pantry in Palmyra MO, Canton Council of Churches in Canton MO, and Ft. Madison Food Pantry in Ft. Madison IA.
